Some of the important Secret *# (Star-hash) codes for phones like Nokia S60
This is a set of special codes starting with star and hash characters (*#), which can be used to retrieve useful information from the phone or even reset the phone.
How to use these codes? Just enter these code code number starting with *# followed by # again
The following are the few useful codes

This code can be used to get the firmware version of the phone along the phone model number.
The format of the result looks like below:

* The first line shows the software version
* The second line shows the release date for the software.
* The third line shows the product type, should correspond to the "Type:" value displayed on phone's label under the battery.
