Recently I read in a news article that the Philippines has been given a high rating in terms of economic growth and that business is booming.

Despite that headline why is it that many Filipinos do not feel the benefits of the so-called growth in terms of economic activity.

Many still have a hard time making ends meet while job seekers either can't find a job or settle for a low-paying job that is not in their area of expertise.

This means that there is a great divide as to who really benefits from this growth.
